Many schools provide lunches for their students but packing your child’s lunch is a much healthier alternative.  Being sure to remember that your child’s overall health is at stake. Its hard to make mistakes packing healthy lunches with these 3 easy suggestions.

1. Bread – using whole wheat bread for sandwiches is much healthier than using plain white bread.

2. Chips are not a healthy snack. Try cut veggies, fruit or trail mix with nuts and seeds for a healthy alternative.

3. Milk is a better beverage than soda or sweetened beverages. Remind them to rinse with water after a meal if they cannot brush their teeth at school.

A Solid Foundation

Over consumption of sugars and starch can lead to chronic related diseases and type 2 diabetes. Creating a solid foundation for your child’s health at home will help them make wiser decisions when they are out on their own. Healthy lunches will help your child keep their teeth and bodies healthy!

We are open Monday through Saturday and offer appointments as early as 7:30am

The first checkup is recommended at the first birthday. Our patients generally stay with us until they graduate high school. We are proud to say we are now seeing the children of former patients, as the practice was established in 1973 by Dr. Robert Harmon.

We have 24 hour coverage for our patient’s dental emergencies. There is a pediatric dentist on call at all times. Should you need after hours advice or emergency care, simply dial our telephone number and our message will direct you.

Are we accepting new patients? Yes, absolutely! We are happy to welcome new patients to our practice and we appreciate your referring your friends and family to us.
